Convenience and safety features: Anti-corrosion protection: the MCW462-U body receives a blue anodized anti-corrosion treatment. The process is known to be the best available: Type II, class 2 (sulfuric acid anodize).

Leak-free guarantee: The assembly is tested prior to shipping under city-water pressure, and guaranteed leak-free up to 60 psi.

Safest mounting mechanism: Contrarily to socket clamping mechanisms, the mounting system through the motherboard is proven to protect the assembly against the worse shipping abuses.

Convenient built-in quick-connect fittings: in another industry-first, the MCW462-U features built-in quick-connect fittings for 3/8" OD tubing. Quick-connect fittings are preferred to hose barbs and compression fittings because of their safety and ease of use. The built-in design also offers slightly improved flow, compared to elbow connectors used in previous MCW462 models.

Compatibility with soft tubing: the fittings are fully compatible with soft vinyl or silicon tubing. This type of tubing is easier to bend around tight corners, and transparent.

Tight corners assemblies: If you prefer using hard poly-ethylene tubing, optional 3/8" Swivel elbow fittings are also available for configurations where there is insufficient room to safely bend the tubes.

Compatibility with 1/2" OD (.375" ID) tubing: optional !/2" to 3/8" reducing swivel elbows are available when compatibility is required with an existing 1/2" tubing installation.

Multi-processor compatibility: The MCW462-U can be used in multi-processor platforms.
