DESCRIPTION
The e.SATA RAID Kit can also be utilized as an external backup device. It is capable of supporting Hot-Swap, when used with the RocketRAID 1542 RAID software.
The e.SATA (External Serial ATA) RAID Kit combines two of HighPoint's e.SATA products: the RocketMate 1200 dual external SATA disk enclosure, and the RocketRAID 1542 Host Adapter, into a complete external RAID storage solution. The e.SATA RAID Kit adds e.SATA RAID support to any computer system. The RocketMate 1200 supports two IDE hard disk drives. This combination supports several RAID levels, including RAID 1, RAID 0 and JBOD.
